My Collection: Rookies

Captain Rex: This is the third version of the standard Captain Rex figure. The only main difference is a new, more accurate helmet sculpt, which was long overdue. The paint detailing is pretty good on this figure, and his head is a bit more accurate. He comes with twin blaster pistols that fit will into holsters in his command skirt. The articulation is almost perfect with everything multi-jointed except the thighs.

Commander Cody: This is a good looking figure. The paint detailing, sculpting, and articulation come together to make a fine incarnation of the quintessential Clone Commander. The only detractors are the antennas coming out of his removable helmet and shoulder pauldron, they are a bit bent. But other than that, Cody is a fantastic figure.

Clone Trooper Echo: It was suggested by the fan community when Rookies aired, that the only reason why Rex gave Echo an eelblood handprint was so that Hasbro could go and make another clone variant. Regardless of the truth behind this, Hasbro did follow suit and make a great version of the clone hero. He has standard clone articulation and featured good paint detailing. Another unique factor is the movable macrobinocular visor that fits over his removable helmet.

Clone Trooper Fives: Fives is the first of many standard white clones whose helmets can be removed to reveal a unique character. He has all the positive attributes to what I consider one of the best clone bodies to date. The paint detailing on his unique head is pretty good, including an iconic Aurebesh tatoo on his forhead.

Commando Droid Captain: Now this is a cool figure! The captain has articulation throughout his well sculpted body. He also has a few paint marks that distinguish him from infantry level commandos. This figure comes with an electro-sword that includes a rap-around plastic force-field. He is a bit smallish and flimsy, but the well articulated legs allow him to be easily posed.

Commando Droids: These are the same sculpt as the captain but lack the extra paint detailing and electro-sword. An interesting feature of these droids is that a clone trooper helmet can easily be fitted over their heads to mimic part of the disguise they used in the episode.
