My Collection: Hasbro 2011 Wave III

This week I finally found the third 2011 wave of Clone Wars figures. It includes Commander Colt, Riot Control Clone Trooper, Eeth Koth, and Barriss Offee. I found these at ToysRus and was sad to find that the price there has risen to $8.99 for each basic figure. Luckily I had bought a few troop builders when they were having a sale, and was able to exchange them for these. I thought I would share some pics with you...

Clone Commander Colt

Commander Colt is a repaint of one of the troopers from the ARC Troopers battle pack. The original ARC Commander was based off of concept art for Colt, while this version is more screen accurate. He has wonderful articulation throughout his legs and arms and carries twin blaster pistols that both fit nicely into holsters. Unfortunately Colt's helmet doesn't come off, but the paint detailing is pretty good. He also comes with a projectile firing missile launcher.

Riot Control Clone Trooper

This trooper has great paint detailing and optimal articulation. He comes with a baton and an awesome semi-transparent shield that straps to his wrist. The helmet doesn't come off, but it reminds me of Foxx's.

Eeth Koth

Master Koth makes for an excellent figure. The sculpting and detailing is definitely screen accurate. He has articulation everywhere except for his ankles, which is a bit of a detractor. But the cloth skirt integrates well and doesn't look out of place.

Barriss Offee

This is an interesting figure. Padawan Barriss has good sculpting and detailing, but doesn't have a whole lot of articulation. Oddly enough she has a cloth skirt like most Jedi figures, but can't take advantage of it, because she has no joints in her ankles and knees. Barriss comes with a few Geonosian brain worms that are twice as long as they should be. The one emerging from the green egg is the most accurate.
