My Collection: Clone Wars Movie: Heroes

R2-D2: Anakin's blue-domed astromech is one of the most original figures in the Clone Wars line. R2 comes with multiple action/customization features including a wind-able clawed tether that comes out of a compartment in his back, a prod and claw that come out of his front, a scope that pops out of his head, and jet flares that attach to his legs. He also has tiny wheels in his feet that allow for easy movement. These features coupled with an accurate paint design make R2 one of the best figures in the first wave.

Admiral Yularen: The admiral is an interesting figure. He comes with a holster-able blaster that we never saw him use in the movie. The sculpt of the figure might actually be a bit too accurate, as he is slight and hard to pose. Most of his articulation is in his arms, rather than his legs. The only good thing about Yularen is that he comes with a holoprojector table. Yet still he is a classic peg-warmer in my opinion.

Oddball: The trepidatious Clone Pilot uses the classic clone body, with great articulation throughout his body. I only wish his helmet came off. But I guess it wasn't necessary because we didn't see his face in the movie. But overall this is a great figure to stick in your gunships and starfighters.

Clone Tank Gunner: There are several version of the Clone Tank Gunner. This one came with the Turbo Tank vehicle. Like Oddball it also uses the classic clone body without a removable helmet. For me, the paint scheme on this one is a bit boring, and I just stick him on the gun turret of my AT-TE to fill the space.
